To be used on three phase motors rated at 230volts, with a 230 volt single phase input. This type of converter is designed to be wired in on the single phase line side of the system, with this wiring configuration you not not need to modify your three phase wiring on your equipment.
Static type converters are just design for motor type loads, with a easy to normal startup loads. Motor horsepower must fall within the range of the static converter nemaplate rating. with static converters as certain amount of horsepower loss will occur, but with easy to normal type loads the horsepower loss will not be noticed. For any other type loads or resistive applications please refer to rotary phase converters.
